Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan was named to the All-NBA Second Team today, the team announced.
The selection comes following a season in which DeRozan led the Raptors in scoring, as the team soared to a franchise-record 59 wins and finished in the top five in the NBA in both offense and defense. DeRozan was widely cited for adjusting his game this past season, improving both his shot selection and playmaking abilities; he averaged a career high in 3-point attempts per game (3.6) and assists per game (5.2). He also scored a franchise-record 52 points in a New Year’s Day victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
