DeMar DeRozan named Eastern Conference Player of the Week (again!)

For the fifth time this season, and the second time in as many weeks, DeMar DeRozan has been named the NBA’s Eastern Conference Player of the Week.

As you’d expect for someone given this award, DeRozan was really damn good this week (the award was for March 5 to 11). As the Raptors went 4-0, he averaged 24.8 points per game on 45% shooting, with 4.5 rebounds and 4.3 assists to round things out.

In a marquee matchup with the Western Conference’s best team, DeRozan scored 23, grabbed seven rebounds and was a +8.
