It’s almost as if a sixth sense takes over when C.J. Miles curls from the side of the basketball court. That feeling — where he is, who is chasing him, what he has to do — just naturally takes over.
It is a skill, a feel, that many of the best shooters in the game possess and it is becoming more and more evident in Miles as he gets more comfortable in his role with the Toronto Raptors.
“It’s just knowing where I’m at before I start moving,” Miles said. “It’s kind of like how Tim Duncan used to do it, talking about the marks on the floor, knowing your angles and understanding how to get your feet down quick.
