The Toronto Raptors will be severely tested for the duration of the season. Already missing Kyle Lowry until then, the team is likely to be without small forward DeMarre Carroll. He appeared to turn his ankle badly, and hobbled to the dressing room, not to return, in Q2. While not a body blow (Carroll has been a huge disappointment as a Raptor), his absence combined with some bizarre playing-time decisions by coach Dwane Casey, was too much to overcome. Toronto fell to Milwaukee.
Our head coach has never strayed far from his contention that defense trumps offense in the NBA.
