The Toronto Raptors currently have the NBA’s best record at 22-7. Despite this success pertaining to wins and losses, Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet have both evidently been struggling with their play at points this season.
Kyle Lowry, on one hand, has been struggling for a short period of time, though his downturn has still been immensely potent. Over his last five games before a recent bounce-back versus the Los Angeles Clippers, Lowry has averaged just five points per game while shooting 19% from the field and 15.6% from three. Although Lowry is experiencing this dip in just five games out of an eighty-two game schedule, four of these games have occurred against upper-echelon NBA talent in Golden State, Denver, Philadelphia and Milwaukee.
