It was basically an impossible task on a brutal back-to-back, the rested Golden State Warriors lying in wait Wednesday for the Toronto Raptors to recover from an emotionally draining, physically taxing Tuesday loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Sure, there was enough adrenaline and sense of the moment to keep the Raptors engaged for a little while, but the mental grind of staying alert through another intense evening had to eventually take its toll.
