If it wasn’t clear after Game 1, let me remind anybody reading this that the Toronto Raptors pose a legitimate threat to the Golden State Warriors’ crown despite what the champs did to them in Game 2 on Sunday.
The Raptors entered halftime with a five-point lead, up 59-54 after hot shooting from Steph Curry down the stretch of the second quarter prevented the lead from growing beyond a handful.
Out of halftime, the Warriors scored the first 18 points. The champs suddenly led 72-59 and they would never look back from there, winning Game 2 while effectively ripping the heart out of an entire country.
