At the first Raptors’ home game, faces in the crowd tell story of team’s appeal

There’s a new face on the new game in town.

And it’s a visage that looks more like Metro’s multicultural mosaic than Bay Street’s power brokers.

While the white, well-heeled corporate types so visible at Blue Jay and Maple Leaf games still hold the best seats in crowds dominated by white fans, the SkyDome audience watching the Toronto Raptors make basketball history tonight will represent many segments of Metro’s international population.
