The Raptors may be forced to extend their playing rotation for their do-or-die game with the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night.
Serge Ibaka, who represents half of Toronto’s main two-man bench crew, was wearing a walking boot on a tender left ankle on Tuesday and his availability for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinal on Wednesday is not assured.
Ibaka left Monday’s Game 5 — an easy 111-89 Boston win for a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series — in the fourth quarter. There was no indication of when he was injured and he said Tuesday he thought he could have played again had the game not been out of reach.
