It is so much more than pure skill that will allow Andrew Nembhard to reach his goal of making it to the NBA.
Sure, his shooting and passing and defending will catch the eye of some general manager who plucks him from the long list of candidates in the draft later this month.
But his mentality, his confidence and his self-awareness will be what allow him to thrive at the highest level of the sport.
“At this level everybody’s good,” Nembhard said after a Friday morning workout for the Raptors. “You got to be able to fit in to a role.
