With many pieces to a complex puzzle to put together, Nick Nurse really wasn’t sure what Wednesday night would look like for the Raptors.
The coach had nearly a full roster at his disposal, with all his key players ready to go, and it was an intriguing proposition.
“I have no idea what’s going to happen here,” he said. “These guys haven’t played together in a long time. I hope it’s a first step.”
A good one, as it turned out.
All of the top Raptors were back in uniform for the first time in about 10 games and they came up with a thorough performance in the final three quarters, registering a 114-103 win over the Brooklyn Nets and extending their winning streak to four games.
