Hockey Canada announced this evening that Markham Thunder forward Victoria Bach will be joining Team Canada’s roster for the 4 Nations Cup in Saskatoon.
The Thunder’s first-round pick in the 2018 CWHL Draft, Bach was a star forward and top-three Patty Kazmaier nominee as a senior playing for Boston University, and has been on Hockey Canada’s radar for a while. She’s spent significant time on the National Women’s Development Team and is a three-time medalist at the Nations Cup, but this is her first tournament with the senior team. In six games with the Thunder, she’s scored four points and three goals, including this gorgeous snipe against the Shenzhen Rays’ Noora Räty, who she’ll be facing again in Saskatoon.
