The likes of Artemi Panarin and Sergei Bobrovsky highlight a fairly good class of unrestricted free-agents, but the Toronto Maple Leafs aren’t expected to make any major signings.
The salary cap is a problem, but then again, UFA day hardly ever presents a useful player at a reasonable price.

Today is Canada Day, and to celebrate, it is expected that the Leafs will send Nikita Zaitsev to the Senators for Cody Ceci, who is not expected to ever actually play for the Leafs.
