Toronto Maple Leafs Sign a Brand New Defenseman

The Toronto Maple Leafs have signed defenseman Mac Hollowell to an entry-level contract.

Hollowell is currently playing with Kyle Dubas former team, the Sault St. Marie Greyhounds and is currently the highest scoring defenseman in the Ontario Hockey League.

Hollowellwas drafted by the Leafs in the fourth round of last year’s NHL Entry Draft. He was taken 118th overall.

Much like another defenseman the Leafs drafted, Sean Durzi (traded to the L.A Kings in the Jake Muzzin deal), Hollowell is small and right-handed.
