The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired Jack Campbell and Kyle Clifford from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for Trevor Moore, a third-round pick in 2020, and a conditional third-round pick for 2021.
With the addition of Jack Campbell (who is 2-0-1 in his first three games in Blue and White), the Leafs face the problem of Michael Hutchinson (11-4-9) – who they placed on waivers this morning.
In order for Hutchinson to be reassigned to the Toronto Marlies, he would need to clear waivers. The Toronto Maple Leafs have lost too many goaltenders to waivers, resulting in nothing in return.
