After a mediocre October that saw them start hot, but finish 7-5, the Toronto Maple Leafs were still a team with all sorts of question marks. They had a lot of players who were good, but where did they fit in the lineup? What was wrong with Freddie Andersen? Where the Leafs going to be contenders?
After finishing October with a three game losing streak, the Leafs were a team with more questions than answers. Now, I’m not so naive to say that a strong November furnished all those answers but I do think the Leafs have come a long way in the last month.
