Three Toronto Marlies will be in the AHL All-Star game

Today the AHL announced the rosters for the 2018 All-Star Game being held in Utica, New York.

Two Toronto Marlies will be playing in the game: Kasperi Kapanen and Travis Dermott will represent Toronto for the North Division. Kapanen has been having a good season for the Marlies, scoring 15 points (9G, 6A) in 20 games. This is Kapanens first AHL All-Star Game. Travis Dermott is the star on defense for the Marlies, and has scored 17 points (2G, 15A) in 26 games. This is Dermott’s first AHL All-Star Game. Dermott and Kapanen are often the Marlies most desired to be on the Maple Leafs right now.
