Leafs Lose Rematch with Jackets 4-2

After beating Columbus earlier this week in Toronto, the Leafs came out with a 4-2 road loss.

Scoring for Toronto were Ron Hainsey and Kasperi Kapanen. Freddie Andersen stopped 32 of 34 shots fired his way. The tough stat for the Leafs was Morgan Rielly having a minus-4 evening, for the first time in his career.

One bright spot for Toronto was John Tavares winning 89 percent (8 won, 1 lost) of his offensive zone faceoffs.

Next action for the Leafs is tomorrow night at 7pm, versus the Flyers. It’s on CBC and Fan 590 radio.
