Going into the final game of the CWHL regular season, the Markham Thunder are already locked into the fourth playoff spot. While their opponent remains to be seen—it will be either Kunlun Red Star or les Canadiennes de Montréal—this game against the Blades was meaningless in terms of the standings, and only matters for pride (for both teams).
