Hoping to open up a new development pathway for Canadian player-bloggers, Waking the Red FC is officially back! We’ll be taking part in Kristian Jack’s 11th annual ‘Football for Good’ charity tournament on December 2 at Toronto FC’s BMO Training Ground.
Football for Good is an organization that helps bring the Beautiful Game to children in Africa with top-notch development and education programs. All the proceeds from KJ’s tournament will go directly to helping kids in Uganda.
Last time out, WTR FC brought in a couple ringers and managed to make it all the way to the tournament’s consolation final before losing on penalties.
