VOTE: Toronto FC’s Pozuelo nominated for 2019 MLS Goal of the Year

Toronto FC attacker Alejandro Pozuelo made his TFC debut in style, scoring two of the slickest goals BMO Field has ever seen on March 29 against the now-first-place NYCFC.

Including an audacious Paneka penalty to open his MLS bank account, the designated player added the jaw-dropper below in the 78th minute — which has been nominated for goal of the season — giving the city mourning the loss of their beloved Sebastian Giovinco some short-term comfort.

Since then, despite high expectations and an exhausting workload over the past 365 days, the Spaniard has impressed in his first season in North America.
