One of the two combatants in this year’s MLS Cup final has been decided. After a 3-1 win on aggregate over the Colorado Rapids, the Seattle Sounders will play in their first ever MLS Cup final.
The location of that final, however, is still dependent on the Eastern Conference finals. But with Seattle’s win Toronto FC are now the highest ranked team remaining in the playoffs.
That means that should they reach the MLS Cup final, it will be played at Toronto’s BMO Field. The match would take place on Saturday, December 10, and would be the second time BMO Field has hosted the event, but the first time Toronto FC would be involved.
