Toronto FC designated player Jozy Altidore has appeared to avoid supplementary discipline at the hands of MLS’ disciplinary committee this week, after the TFC striker was involved in another on-field incident during Sunday night’s 3-2 win over the Colorado Rapids.
After a ball was kicked up into the air, a clearly frustrated Altidore bulldozed through Colorado defender Lalas Abubakar, appearing to make little attempt to play the ball.
With kickoff against LAFC roughly 24 hours away, it appears Altidore will be eligible to play Saturday night when the Reds take on the league-leaders.
