The Reds will face the Columbus Crew in the Eastern Conference final following the international break. Both Toronto and Columbus lost on Sunday, but had done enough in the first leg to progress.
Gregg Berhalter’s Crew were defeated 2-0 by New York City FC but had won 4-1 at home, while Toronto lost 1-0 to the New York Red Bulls but advanced on away goals having been 2-1 victors in New Jersey.
Columbus will host the first leg on Tuesday, November 21 at 8 p.m. ET before making the trip to Canada on either November 28 or 29.
