The club selected the University of Maryland midfielder with their first round pick in this year's draft.
Toronto FC have selected Tsubasa Endoh with their first round pick, ninth overall, in the MLS entry draft. Endoh was the Most Valuable Player at the Major League Soccer draft combine where he impressed several clubs.
The midfielder could play as either a central attacking midfielder or a winger in Major League Soccer, and where Toronto plays him remains to be seen. Endoh was a depth pick up intended on giving the club another midfield option when international windows take many of their players.
