Days out from the official start of Major League Soccer’s pre-season, Tim Bezbatchenko is happy with the upgrades made to Toronto FC’s squad so far.
But that doesn’t necessarily mean the Reds general manager has stopped looking for talent out of the corner of his eye.
“I wouldn’t say we’re done, I wouldn’t say we’re looking,” Bezbatchenko said Tuesday during a conference call to introduce recently acquired goalkeeper Clint Irwin, the final piece in a defensive-heavy puzzle the Reds badly needed to complete this off-season.
“As a (general manager) I don’t think you’re ever done.
