Toronto FC announced Saturday afternoon that the club will be postponing travel to Orlando, Florida after a player reported that he was “experiencing symptoms to the team medical staff.”
Earlier in the day, The Athletic’s Joshua Kloke reported that the club will not travel today, as was scheduled. He also said that the earliest the team can leave for Florida is Monday. There has been no statement from Toronto FC yet as to why. The flight that was reportedly supposed to carry the club to the tournament departed on schedule, but has since turned around and landed in Atlanta.
