HOUSTON—Jozy Altidore scored his third goal in four games and Toronto FC played to a 1-1 tie with the 10-man Houston Dynamo on Sunday night in a game postponed Saturday because of rain.
Toronto (10-7-7) had its four-game winning streak snapped. Houston (4-10-9) is winless in six games.
“Whenever you’re up a man for 45 minutes I think you feel like you should come away with three points on a game like that,” said TFC coach Greg Vanney.
“What was disappointing for me is that it just wasn’t a very clean second half by us in terms of creating chances and making sure that we maintained our shape.
