Toronto FC pass in re-entry draft; no Reds players taken

No Toronto FC-related movement today in stage one of the MLS Re-Entry Draft.

Daniel Lovitz, Josh Williams and Ashtone Morgan were all eligible to enter the draft but Morgan opted out and Lovitz and Williams went unselected.

TFC, meanwhile, had the 19th pick but passed. Three picks were made: Houston selected Seattle defender Dylan Remick, Seattle selected San Jose goalkeeper Bryan Meredith and Orlando City selected Chicago goalkeeper Patrick McLain.

The lack of activity is not surprising. In stage two of the draft next Friday, clubs are able to negotiate new contracts with all of the available players.
