Toronto FC II fall at home for the first time this season

Toronto FC II suffered their first home defeat on Friday afternoon, falling 2-1 to the Richmond Kickers.

Matthew Srbely opened the scoring for TFC II in the 19th minute. After a lobbed cross from Noble Okello, Ayo Akinola whiffed on a volley, but Srbely found the bottom-right corner.

The Kickers would equalize in the 35th minute. After a long ball forward from Scott Thomsen, TFC II goalkeeper Eric Klenofsky seemed to hesitate while deciding whether he wanted to catch or punch the ball, and it ended up sailing over his head. He reached up to try and push the ball out, but put it into his own goal.
