TORONTO, Canada—Following Sunday’s remarkable win over the first-place Columbus Crew SC, Toronto FC defender Richie Laryea and head coach Greg Vanney have been named to the Week 14 MLS Team of the Week.
The Toronto FC duo played significant roles in the Reds’ 3-1 come-from-behind victory at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.
Laryea, 25, was involved in all three TFC tallies, highlighted by his showstopping individual effort to score his fourth goal of the season. The defender continues to grow, and at this point, the sky feels like the limit for the Canadian international.
