Immediately following the confirmation that Sebastian Giovinco has been sold to Al-Hilal, a team in Saudi Arabia, Joshua Kloke of The Athletic has confirmed that Toronto FC have signed American striker Terrence Boyd.

Boyd, 27, is joining the club from SV Darmstadt 98, a club that plays in the second division of Germany.
