Report: Toronto FC trade Jordan Hamilton to Columbus Crew for Patrick Mullins

After six seasons it appears at though Jordan Hamilton’s time with Toronto FC is done. The 22-year-old has reportedly been traded to club “rival” Columbus Crew SC for 27-year-old striker Patrick Mullins.

Per Sam Stejskal of The Athletic, Columbus will retain part of the $260k Mullins is owed in guaranteed compensation. Along with Hamilton, Toronto FC will send an international slot to Columbus for the remainder of the year, and the Crew will have right of first refusal on an international player who remains a secret.

Hamilton has 4 goals in 14 MLS games (7 starts) this year, while Mullins has none in nine (only two starts, though).
