Report: Toronto FC outbid Palmeiras for Borré; River Plate stiker wants move to Europe

TORONTO, Canada—The Rafael Santos Borré saga continues.

Reports out of Brazil have indicated that two clubs are pushing to sign the River Plate striker, who is out of contract in June, with Toronto FC leading the charge.

According to Bruno Andrade, Brazilian side Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras have offered a deal worth approximately $18 million CAD over a four years for the Colombian, while TFC have apparently offered approximately $20 million over a three-year deal.
