With the MLS is Back tournament opener just four days away, Toronto FC are reportedly delaying their trip to Orlando, Florida for the second straight day.
The Athletic’s Joshua Kloke has been told that the club will not travel today, as was scheduled. He also said that the earliest the team can leave for Florida is Monday. There has been no statement from Toronto FC yet as to why. The flight that was reportedly supposed to carry the club to the tournament departed on schedule, but has since turned around and landed in Atlanta.
This news comes after multiple members of FC Dallas tested positive for Covid-19, causing their opening match against the Vancouver Whitecaps to be delayed.
