League-leading Toronto FC extended their unbeaten streak to eight games on Wednesday night with a 1-1 draw against the New York Red Bulls at their temporary home of Rentschler Field in Hartford, Connecticut.
The Reds dominated the early part of the match, and Alejandro Pozuelo nearly found the back of the net on multiple occasions, none closer than when he forced a save out of Ryan Meara in the 8th minute.
The Spaniard, frustrated by his earlier misses, would find what he was looking for in the 23rd minute.
