Rate the Reds: Toronto FC 2-2 Chicago Fire

Well, that was a bummer. Toronto FC dominated the Chicago Fire for most of the game this afternoon, but as their defenders began getting very visibly exhausted, Chicago’s fresher legs pushed on. The away side fought back from an early 2-0 deficit to draw 2-2 with the champions after Alan Gordon’s stoppage time equalizer.

TFC had goals from Jonathan Osorio and Victor Vazquez, with another by Sebastian Giovinco that was disallowed for offside. Greg Vanney was quite irritated with Chicago’s first goal, since Bastian Schweinsteiger’s header may have been an offisde play as well, but it wasn’t looked at with VAR.
