It was yet another disappointing day at BMO Field today, as Toronto FC lost 1-0 to the New York Red Bulls. Kemar Lawrence scored a fairly soft goal just three minutes in, and from there the Reds were unable to beat keeper Luis Robles.
TFC remain on 15 points, as that sixth-place spot continues to pull out of sight. This is a very tough home result for Toronto, as they can’t seem to make BMO Field into the fortress it was a year ago.
The Reds will now go on to spend some time on the road together, with away games this week against Minnesota United and Sporting Kansas City.
