Abu Danladi was not drafted first overall by Minnesota United to defend, but it was hard not to roll your eyes when the rookie hacked down Raheem Edwards in the box for the penalty from which Sebastian Giovinco gave Toronto FC the lead on Saturday. Edwards is just a few months older than Danladi and had a grand total of two minutes more MLS experience coming into this season, but whereas the Ghanaian will likely be a consideration for Rookie of the Year at the end of the campaign, Edwards will not.
