Toronto FC’s Raheem Edwards is on his way to expansion side Los Angeles FC after being selected in the 2017 expansion draft. The 22-year-old left wing back had a goal and six assists for Toronto FC in his first full season in Major League Soccer.
Whether or not something is in the works to return Edwards to Toronto remains to be seen. TFC have twice previously secured the return of a player selected in the expansion draft. They did so last season with Clint Irwin.
