For all the talk of a quiet off-season, there sure are a lot of new faces at Toronto FC these days.
The Reds’ wheeling and dealing might not have included the blockbuster trades Toronto became known for in recent seasons, but the likes of Victor Vazquez, Chris Mavinga, Raheem Edwards, Sergio Camargo and Brandon Aubrey were still added to the 30-man active roster before the season kicked off.
And it didn’t stop there; three new faces have joined Toronto in the weeks since opening day.
Johan Brunell: For a 25-year-old, the centre back has a respectable amount of experience under his belt after playing in Finland’s first division for five seasons.
