What a wild night at BMO Field! On Sunday, Toronto FC advanced to the Eastern Conference finals for the second straight year, but not before being in the centre of all kinds of controversy. Jozy Altidore and New York’s Sacha Kljestan were both sent off for a half-time scuffle in the tunnel. Meanwhile, Sebastian Giovinco will miss the next match after getting a second yellow card for arguing with referee Chris Penso. The only goal of the match came from New York’s Bradley Wright-Phillips in a 1-0 victory, but Toronto prevailed on away goals having won the first leg 2-1 at Red Bull Arena.
