Toronto FC look to be closing in on a major new signing... and it’s not exactly what we expected.
According to a report on Radio Capital in Peru by journalist Daniel Peredo - an account of which you can read in Spanish via La Republica - Peru international forward Yordy Reyna will be revealed as a TFC player in the coming hours.
Peredo says he has been informed of the move by the mother of Reyna, who currently plays for Red Bull Salzburg in Austria. It is, at this stage, just one report, but coming out of the player’s home country I would be inclined to believe it until given a reason not to.
