Fresh off their Campeones Cup disappointment, Toronto FC have traveled to New Jersey for yet another MLS clash with the New York Red Bulls. With six games left to play, the Reds will pretty much have to win out at this point to give themselves any hope of grabbing a playoff spot.
The Red Bulls have conceded three goals in each of their past two matches (a 3-3 draw with D.C. United and a 3-0 loss to the Montreal Impact). Assuming Sebastian Giovinco and Jozy Altidore are fit to play after exiting Wednesday’s game early, this could be an opportunity for TFC’s attack to come alive — it’s been pretty lively in the last couple MLS games, so the Reds will want to keep that rolling.
