The MLS is Back Tournament finally kicked things off Wednesday evening as 25 teams (for now) compete for the tournament title and a chance to earn a spot in the CONCACAF Champions League.

Racial injustice and police brutality have been at the forefront of conversations leading up to the tournament, and on Wednesday, before kickoff, Black players and staff from around the league came together in solidarity to take a stand.
