After just under two months of ‘training on his own’, Waking the Red has learned that Toronto FC legend Jozy Altidore has returned to training with the rest of the first team, TFC’s first session back in Ontario since returning last week from the U.S.
Altidore had been ordered to train on his own and apart from the first team following a disagreement with now-former head coach Chris Armas in May. The designated player was exiled from team selection and did not appear in a game over that span.
