A little more than 75 minutes into Toronto FC’s 1-0 win over Chicago Fire Saturday night, Sebastian Giovinco, found himself in space at the top of the visitor’s penalty box.
The Italian striker, in his seventh game without a goal, set himself up for a curler into the bottom of Fire goalkeeper Sean Johnson’s net.
But, like so many of his shots as of late, the ball dribbled wide.
Giovinco hit the ground in the fetal position. Once back on his feet, he let out a scream. And then the Atomic Ant grabbed at the collar of his jersey, ripping the red material clean in half.
