Toronto FC will make their return to the Canadian Championship tonight, entering at the third round (the semi-finals) as they make the trip to our nation’s capital to play the USL’s Ottawa Fury.
The Reds have now won this tournament three times in a row, having beaten the Vancouver Whitecaps in last season’s final.
Just as they did in the two previous years, the Reds will play Ottawa to open their campaign. In this, the away leg, they’ll be hoping not to stumble and fall behind, as they did in the 2017 contest.
