TORONTO, Canada—After just one season with Toronto FC, Pablo Piatti appears to be saying farewell.
The former Reds designated player took to his Instagram page Friday afternoon, posting a brief goodbye message to the club and supporters.
“Thanks Toronto, see you. Best in the future,” wrote the Argentine.
Well-renowned friend Alejandro Pozuelo was quick to comment: “Como os echamos de menos hermano!!!!” which roughly translates from spanish to english into: “How we miss you brother!!!!”
Piatti, 31, spent 12 seasons in Spain, including stints with UD Almeria, Valencia, and Espanyol before joining Toronto in 2020.
