Footy Talks: MLS Cup 2018 Preview

Like the last two MLS Cups, this year’s edition features a side from Cascadia travelling to the east to battle a big red machine with a vibrant fanbase and a massive payroll. Only this year, the shade of red is different, as is the Cascadian challenger.

The hosts, Atlanta United, much like Toronto FC last year, will be trying to cement their legacy with a piece of silverware. It was that same Toronto club that denied United the Supporters’ Shield and the points record on the final day of the regular season.

It would be tough on Atlanta to go through all they have this season and not have a piece of silverware to commemorate it all.
